Welcome to the first post of my journal. First I will list a few HYIPs that have scammed me in the past.
1. nextgenmarket.com
Total deposit was $90. Never had any return. Pending payment piled up and the admin stopped responding to my emails.
2. Space-invest.com
This site promised ridiculous profits in a very short time. deposited $20 here. As soon as I put in request for withdrawal, the site showed some error code, and my balance showed $0 on the site, and I never got any money on LR. So the money simply vanished right in front of my eyes. Mailed the admin, and of course there was no reply.
Lessen learned from these two cases: Never trust sites that promise extremely high returns in very short time, and certainly don't feel that false sense of security because the money will only be invested for a very short time. Even if the site promises 150% in 10 minutes, even a second is enough for the scammers to make your money disappear.
Lessen number two, do your research on the HYIP before investing. Most HYIP monitors are untrustworthy and are paid by these scammers to keep them in paying status. I found the talkgold forum to be one of the few trustworthy places, but beware that the scammers have people paid to post false paid reports to talkgold on behalf of their HYIP website. So its not a matter of whether most people on the forum claims that a site is paying but whether every single post on the website's thread says that it is paying. Remember that most scamming sites still have 9 out of 10 people claiming that it is paying on their talkgold thread. The 1 or 2 people claiming scam are the ones that you should be inclined to trust.
I will list below the names of each HYIP that have money invested in, The amount that I have invested, total amount that I have withdrawn from each of them, whether they are still paying, and my personal comments on my experience with them.
Cherryshares (cherryshares.com):
Total deposited: $50.
Total withdrawn so far: $17.60
Status: Still paying until now.
My comment: They are probably the most reputed HYIP right now. One might feel like investing $1000 with them based on their reputation, but I'm not doing that because it is never a good idea to put all your eggs in one basket in the HYIP world. Of all the sites that I have invested in, I trust these guys the most, but I also know they have the potential to become the next Geniusfunds at any moment and it is bound to happen sometime. Could be tomorrow, and could be next year, or could be 5 years from now. And when that happens, I will lose all the money I have invested in them. In HYIP we are bound to lose money and be scammed. The aim should be to make more money than we are scammed. That's the nature of these business. One thing I notices about Cherryshares is that their payments are not instant. However they are the next best thing, i.e. they usually process payments within 4 to 5 hours, often within the hour. So its still better than those sites that make more than a day.
Onyx Investment (onyxinv.com):
Total deposited: $35.49
Total withdrawn: $19.84
Status: paying until now.
My comment: Been very pleased with them so far. One of the reason being withdrawals are instant with them. The only exception was last week when withdrawal was about 6 hours late. Because their withdrawal had always been instant until then, I actually thought they had gone into scam mode, and proceeded to report my experience on talkgold immediately for the benefit of others (my username on talkgold is rocky_841). However the payment did come later, and I reported that on talkgold as well, once again for the benefit of fellow investors. I have been paid on time and instantly this week, so no complaints at all.
Ava Investment (avainv.com):
Total deposited: $10
Total request for withdraw: $7.84
Total pending: $7.84
Status: Been on pending status for more than three weeks, i.e. ever since I joined. So I would say NOT PAYING.
My comment: Obviously they are totally scamming now. I don't know if they ever paid anyone, but they have been pretty much a scamming website ever since I joined. If they somehow start paying again, I will be updating that here.
International Commence (internationalcommerce.biz)
Total deposited: $32
Total withdrawn: $7.13
Status: Paying so far
My comment: So far so good. Withdrawals have always been instant which I love about them. the only problem I got is that I accidentally put on 50% compounding on part of my deposit. I have tried to change the compounding numerous times to 0% through their website system, but there appears to be some bug because the website notifies me everytime that I have successfully changed it, but it somehow still remains 50%. I emailed the admin about this, and did not get a reply. So for the information of anyone thinking of investing here, you wont be able to change the compounding once you invest, so make sure you take that info into account when you set the initial compounding when you deposit money there. From my experience, it is always better to have compounding set to zero. But of course that's just my suggestion. At least it is paying.
Futuretrails (futuretrails.com)

Status: Paying so far
My comment: I'm very happy with them.. so far. Payments are instant, and never had any issues with them at all. I hope they last long.
Orbistrends (orbistrends.com)
Total deposited: $10
Total withdrawn: $1.67
Status: Paying so far
My comment: No complaints. Payments were instant. And I did manage to successfully change the compounding to zero with them, unlike internationalcommerce.biz. So no issues with them so far.
Goldgain.biz
Total deposited: $30
Total withdrawn: $10.60
Total pending: $3.80
Status: I'd say paying for the moment, but will be updating if they end up not paying.
My comment: I was very happy with them until today, because their payments have always been instant until today, when they went pending for the first time. It has been about 3 hours since I put the withdraw request. I hope they haven't gone into scam mode. Regardless of whether I get paid or not, I will be reporting it here. Stay tuned if you are thinking of investing here.

My comment: Their only drawback is that withdrawals are FAR from instant. Withdrawals usually take 1 to 2 days to process. But they are the only HYIP that I am in profit with right now.
Getsgain (getsgain)

Total withdrawn: $3.49
Status: paying so far
My comments: Payments are instant, so I am happy there. But they actually gave me a scare when I made my first deposit of $43.69 on their website. What had happened was that the money left from my LR account, but was not showing up on my getsgain account. After it happened I actually thought it was a scam and I reported it in talkgold for the benefit of fellow investors, I reported it to the admin of getsgain in case its a technical fault, and I reported it to LR. Fortunately it appears that it was a bug on their site because the admin fixed the problem in about 6 hours and the money showed up in my getsgain account. I of course updated that on talkgold and LR that the issue has been resolved. I haven't had any issues after that until now.
I hope the info here will be helpful for others. I will be updating my journal next week, when I withdraw again from all the sites (I usually withdraw from my HYIPs every Monday). So stay tuned.
